The entire women of Mbieri Nwaotuoke autonomous communities in Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State on Saturday 26th August 2023, Successfully held their annual August Meeting.
The event which took place at "ORIE MBIERI" attracted so many notable and prominent sons and daughters of Mbieri Autonomous communities.
It was a great occasion as the age long Leadership crisis amongst the ruling class in the seven (7) autonomous communities was resolved courtesy of the women who took the bull by the horn by ensuring peace absolute tranquility in the leadership Mbieri Nwaotuoke autonomous communities.
Speaking as an invited guest, the Coordinator of Mbaitoli East Development Centre, Hon. Chief Ugonna Chijii Achuko( IKEOHA MBAITOLI) Expressed satisfaction on the height of leadership achievement so far recorded by the women of the area
"Infact, as an illustrious son, a leader and a progressive minded indigene of Mbieri, I am so excited on the cordial relationship, transparency in the leadership of the women through their workaholic members of the executive in their collective bid of strengthening the developmental agenda of the entire MBIERI Otuoke Autonomous Communities.
IKEOHA, while speaking, he thank zGod for for the current state of peace, unity and progressiveness in the Leadership of the women of Mbieri Nwaotuoke women development.
He however ceased the opportunity and commended all the aggrieved factions in Mbieri Development Union embracing peace and unity during the women August Meeting.
The Mbaitoli East development Coordinator, Chief Ugonna Chijii Achuko more so extolled the entire members of Mbieri Nwaotuoke development union for encouraging unity by allowing complete exit interest that triggered disunity in the past amongst the union
"Now, that we have embraced peace, unity as brother's and sister's from the Same tribe, I believe the path of development shall be supported when we embrace peace, development will be very fast and rapid. I am so elated for the path of progress chosen by my people, Achuko submitted.

Highlights of the 2023 Mbieri Women August Meeting was the humanitarian Award bestowed on EZINNE MAMA VIDA a 95 years old woman,who is the beloved mother of Sir ONYEWUCHI ASINOBI (MAYOR).
Illumination of (7) seven candle light represent peace in the (7) seven autonomous communities by the women President Generals,(PGs) of various communities.
So many represented Women of substance were honoured with various awards.
