LEADERS of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of the Ikeduru LGA held a crucial meeting on Sunday, September 03, 2023 at the Local Government Headquarters Council Hall, Iho.
In a statement made available for broadcast by the media directorate, the Chief host and Sole Administrator,*The Very Rev (Dr.) CNN Nwanebu* appreciated all party leaders for coming out massively despite the short notice of rescheduling.
He also appreciated the party leaders especially the APC chairman in Ikeduru, *Hon. Dr. Remigus Onyewuchi,* for his unshaken commitment to the progress of the party.
In his words "On behalf of the Government of Ikeduru LGA, I appreciate you all for your participation in today's meeting despite the rescheduling. It is a sign that you, our party leaders are gallant and ever ready to take the party to its rightful destination."
"To our leaders, especially the operational leader of Ikeduru and Owerri zone, *Prince Charls Amadi,* your commitment and efforts in ensuring the progress and development of the party is clearly effective. We are happy with your leadership prowess and you have indeed shown that you are more than capable and truly the _Jagaban of Owerri zone politics._ May God continue to bless you sir."
"Let me use this opportunity to charge all political appointees to work assiduously with their ward chairman so as to rejig the 27-man executive at the booths/chapters for optimum performance. Please I urged you to be dutiful to the party and never undermine the efforts of the leaders and members in getting committed persons to take up these critical positions at the booths levels", the council boss said
He respectfully honoured the presence of the member representing Ikeduru State Constituency in the Imo 10th assembly, *High Chief (Hon.) Johnleoba Iheoha* who also appreciated all leaders for their sacrifice and uncommon shown of commitment.
In the same vein, _the jagaban of Owerri zone politics_ *Prince Charls Amadi* en-fired all present to stand firm like field marshals but expresses regrets over internal sabotage as observed in the last election; assuring that such act will not be tolerated this time around.
Meanwhile, *High Chief (Hon.) Vitalis Ogueri (Vitaco)* who spoke on behalf of the dacampees (former PDP, LP AND APGA members) assures of their capacity and determination to work for the victory of the party in the forthcoming polls.
Speaking on behalf of the women, *Prof. (Mrs) Edinah Njoku* advises leaders to desist from hijacking what is meant for the booths/chapter executive so as to entrench the party at the grassroot.
Also present at the meeting were Hon. (Barr.) Uche Oguwuike, Barr. Uche Nwosu PhD, Hon. Engr. Obinna Nshirim, Sir Kyrian Okorie, Hon. Victor Nwosu, Hon. Stanley Nwaloka, Ikeduru East and West Development Center Cordinators, Chief Engr I. Nwachukwu ( PG) Hon. Eze Duru (GLO), Chief George Iwuamadi (George white), Chief Chibuzo Oguzie (Eziche) and host of party stalwarts across the 12 wards in the local government.
