The boiling Point that will determine Political directions (Victory) in the 11th . November 2023 Imo governorship elections in Okigwe zone has emerged.
The gathering of the 6 Local governments of Imo North over the weekend at Otoko ,Obowo attests.
Political Leaders , Opinion moulders, Town Union President generals, Women groups , Youth Leaders , Clergy as well as Traditional rulers of various Autonomous Communities Came out at the instance of a new Umbrella body OKIGWE POLITICAL CONSULTATIVE ASSEMBLY. ( OKIPOCA ) .
The Ceremony Chaired by one time Speaker of Imo state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chief Maxwell Duru ( Omeudo )ably supported by Current Speaker of the 10th. Assembly Rt hon Chike Olemgbe with representative of distinguished Senator Patrick Ndubueze , Hon. Greg Owuamalam, Barr. Jerry Egemba, Hon. Simeon Ebegbulem and many others.
It was a gathering of Young Okigwe Progressives according to their global Leader as President , Lady (Mrs) Love Ineh, PhD.
Dr Ineh, a serving Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development in Senator Hope Uzodinma's government in her address told them that Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma is next to the Legendary Dee Sam Mbakwe in terms of Love to Ndi -Okigwe zone .
Mrs Ineh, disclosed that Okipoca is their coming together for a Town Hall meeting is fashioned to Conscientise the Socio - Political developments of Okigwe zone in Line with Prevailing Realities for a better future.
The Okigwe Political Consultative Assembly Leader observed that the quest for organic awareness with a result Driven Political Direction forced the evolution of OKIPOCA.
She maintained that the survival of Okigwe zone must be anchored on Love, Peace and Dignity , truth and Odinmma Okigwe zone and the People.
Okigwe zone that use to be marginalised with deficiency of Social infrastructures is now wearing new faces through our Governor, distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma.
A catalogue of the achievements of the "3R'' Administration of Senator Uzodimma in the past 3 Years were listed such the 53 Kilometers of OWERRI Okigwe Express, the Ongoing Rehabilitation of Owerri /Mbaise to Obowo / Umuahia Road in addition to 5 Kilometer Internal Routes in each LGA .
Other Projects given to Ndi Okigwe zone includes the reactivated Constructions of School of Engineering , IMO State University Onuimo Campus as well as the sites of Imo Housing Scheme Anara , Isiala Mbano etc.
In her words , it's incumbent on Ndi Okigwe zone to appreciate these gestures by Voting back governor Uzodimma on November I1th.2023 .
The meeting also mentioned numerous appointments offered to Imo North Sons and Daughters .
There were lots of applause for the APC governoship Candidate , Senator Hope Uzodinma by some Leaders.
Barr. Jerry Egemba from Ehime Mbano disclosed that all Imolites are appreciative of the good works Senator Hope Uzodinma since the past three Years . He Pointed out that his emergence remains Devine meaning that Only God can stop his second term.
Barr. Egemba said forceful rejection of Ohakim for Second term led Imo state to Wobbling . This Politician from Umunumo Ehime Mbano told the audience that Senator Hope Uzodinma is the best gift and Hope of Ehime Mbano Communities.
Earlier, Rt. Hon Chike Olemgbe, Speaker of the Imo House of Assembly in his speech said there are two Candidates in the 11th. Nov 2023 Elections, while Gov. Hope is the Vaccine , other Contestants are Imo Virus.
Hon. Barrister Uche Konkwo moved a Motion that submissions of People be appraised for for adoption or therwise.
This led the Chairman , former Speaker to raise the galvel after secondment by one Leader .
It was unanimously resolved and agreed that Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma is the only Candidate who is worthy and preferable for the November I1th Imo guber elections.
Reacting to the resolve of Ndi- Okigwe, a Community Leader who is a Political actor in the State, Chief Hon. Simon Ebegbulem told the audience that Okigwe People like every Imolite desirous of good governance and Economic advancements must. Join hands with the Sen. Hope Uzodimma Campaign groups to ensure his Victory is Landslide on November I1th. 2023.
The governor has shown lots of Compassion to Okigwe zone.
