Arising from a well attended meeting of Orlu Political Consultative Assembly with Owerri Zone Political Leaders Forum , focus on measures that would enhance sustainable Peace and developments, as well as rancour -free in upcoming elections in the State occupied centre stage as they appealed to Political gladiators in Imo state to sheath their Swords by cooperating with governor Uzodimma whom many said is wonderfully working to bring about the Imo of our collective dreams.
The Leaders expressed happiness with efforts of distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma in Protecting Lives and Properties of Citizens as they passionately appealed to the humanity in the Perpetrators of the wanton killings to exercise restraints.
The meeting Observed the unending desire of Imolites for Sustainable developments which Distn Senator Hope Uzodimma has continued to Pursue , therefore urged all sons and daughters to Support him for more results.
Amongst giant strides of governor Uzodimma is the dredging of the Orashi/ Oguta River which is widely acknowledged as being the master stroke catapulting Imo state and entire South East into global economic Relevance .
The OZOPOLF and OPOCA Leaders lauded Sons and daughters of Imo state that have withdrawn from the 11th November 2023 guber race assuring that Distinguished Senator Hope will not fail Ndimo.
Chief Charles Amadi, ( Chavon) Leader of Owerri Political Leaders Forum ( OZOPOLF) in his speech disclosed that Imo elders Council directive to Imo Politicians has lots of advantages that will see Imo state advance . Chief Amadi who is rated in Mbaike Politics as a first class Politician maintained that Owerri zone's chances of becoming governor 2027 appear brighter if the recent Charter of Equity is respected by Political actors . He described governor Uzodinma as a man who keeps his words.
Prince Esom Obodo, PhD . Secretary general of OPOCA in his own submission described Imo state as being Poised to advance economically , Socially and otherwise with high level of infrastructural upliftments under distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma since 2020. He appealed to the Political Class in the State to support the shared Prosperity government for sustainable development of the state.
Barrister Chief Rex Anunobi , national President of Orlu Political Consultative Assembly said he was not surprised that Owerri Leaders endorsed Senator Uzodimma for Second term as he has uplifted the State .
The World bank and MCC be roads as well as Owerri to Mbaise , Owerri to Okigwe and Owerri to Orlu routes are eloquent testimony to show how Prepared and ready he is for Imo advancements.
The Summit through a communique signed by OPOCA national President , Chief Barr. Rex Anunobi and Secretary, Prince Goddy Esom Obodo, PhD.as well as OZOPOLF Leaders , Chief Amadi and Secretary Nze Ray Emeana thanked Imo elders Council and stakeholders who conceded the governorship to Orlu in 2023 while requesti brng Owerri and Okigwe zones to Prevail on their sons and daughters to respect Recommendations implicit in the Charter of Equity as enuciated by the Elders.
