Osun Speaker’s Convoy Involved In Accident, Four Security Personnel Injure
Two of them have been discharged from the hospital.
The Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Adewale Egbedun, escaped death in a road accident on Sunday.
His convoy was reportedly involved in an accident while leaving Osogbo, the state capital on Sunday evening. Four security personnel attached to him were injured in the accident.
Meanwhile, the press secretary to the speaker, Olamide Tiamiyu confirmed the accident on Monday to journalists, saying the accident occurred along Osogbo/Ikirun Road on Sunday.
He said the Speaker was safe but four security personnel were injured.
Two of them have been discharged from the hospital, he added.
