Satisfied with his overwhelming contributions in creating job opportunities for teeming Nigerian youths and offering quality products to the global communities, the Face of Igbo Heritage Legend International Foundation ( FIHLIF), has nominated, Chief David Onwukwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Udumiri Industries Limited for an award as 2023 Best Industrialist of The Year in the entire South East, Nigeria.
According to Mr. Uzochukwu Nkweatu, the founder and president of the non governmental organization informed that the landmark event will happen on Friday 27th October at Rockview Hotel Owerri as eminent personalities including captains of industries, business moguls, top government functionaries, first class traditional rulers among others will grace the historical occasion.
Nkweatu pointed out that the recipient of the Foundation's prestigious award who's a great son of Idem Ogwa in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State have shown that given the right investment environment, an indigenous industry like his can produce an Internationally accept products as justified in their Davani Table Water and Davani Fruit Juice products.
He commended Chief Onwukwe for his commitment in boosting the economy of South East as justified by his siting his multi Million Naira industry in Ogbaku which is also in Mbaitoli council area of Imo State.
The President further informed that the choice of Chief Onwukwe as the 2023 Best Industrialist Award is a product of indepth research and feed back from the people while describing his foundation as a cultural and traditional non-profit and non-political organization.
He also opined that the non governmental organization was established to discover and empower Ndi Igbo, young and old as agents of preservation, enhancement, and promotion of Igbo language and culture, noting that the theme of the 2023 LIHIA Summit/Awards is Celebrating Excellence and Preserving Igbo Heritage
Nkweatu insisted that the Foundation is also on a mission of encouraging positive, life-changing activities and critical thinking among Igbos of all generations so as to foster their dreams of a better tomorrow without compromising their integrity and self-worth today
He further applauded Chief Onwukwe for being a true face of Igbo ethnic nationality through his industry and products, even as he advised him not to relent.
