Heavens were let loose on Sunday 15th October,2023 at St. Philip's Anglican Church,Ikembara in Ikeduru Council Area of Imo State.
Reason,was that the youth wing of the Church bestowed an award of "youth development icon" on the Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State on Networking,Hon. Chantel Adanna Chinyere Onwuzuruike.
Meanwhile, the Anglican faithful held a special prayer session for the continue success of the present administration of All Progressives Congress, APC in Imo State and asked the Almighty God to keep guiding and protecting Governor Uzodimma as well as giving him more wisdom to pilot the affairs of Imo people.
Presenting the award, the St. Philip's Anglican Priest,Rev. Emeka Ikenna Nnanna eulogized Hon. Chantel for her untiring efforts towards youth development describing the award as a symbol of hardworking and reward of good works.
Rev. Nnanna urged the Governor's Special Adviser to keep up the good work and prayed the Almighty God to continue strengthening and blessing her.
In his remark, the Church Youth Leader, Brother Chinedu Asamonye noted that Hon. Chantel has empowered their youths in different spheres including securing job opportunities and skill development.
Brother Asamonye disclosed that he is one of the beneficiaries of Governor Hope Uzodimma's job opportunities through her Special Adviser on Networking, Hon. Chantel Adanna Chinyere Onwuzuruike.
He stated that the award bestowed on the Governor's Special Adviser would spur her to do more adding that all youths of Ikembara are ever ready to re-elect Governor Hope Uzodimma come 11th November,2023 off-cycle Imo State governorship election.
Responding, the Governor's Aide,Hon. Chantel Adanna Chinyere Onwzuruike thanked the Anglican faithful for finding her worthy for the award.
Hon. Chantel thanked Ikembara youths for maintaining peace in their community urging them to take advantage of Governor Hope Uzodimma's skill-up Imo programmes and learn digital skills.
She recalled that she had attracted so many job opportunities to her people and urged them to reciprocate Governor Hope Uzodimma's good works by re-electing him in the forthcoming governorship election.
