Igbo traders including their Hausa counterparts in Naze Cluster Market, Owerri North Council Area of Imo State have been urged to give their votes to the APC Governorship Candidate, Governor Hope Uzodimma on 11th November, 2023 off-cycle gubernatorial election.
This appeal was unanimously made on Tuesday 24th October,2023 by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Networking,Hon. Chantel Adanna Chinyere Onwzuruike, President of Imo State Amalgamated Marketers and Traders Association (ISAMATA), Hon. Emmanuel Ezeanochie, Chairman, Imo International Modern Market Cluster, Naze, Hon. Uchenna Anaege (Oil Money), Secretary, ISAMATA, Don- Chris Okere, Women Leader, ISAMATA, Onyinyechi Ozurumba and Chairman, Cluster, Naze, Hausa Market, Alhaji Abdulahi Abdusalam during APC Governorship market-market rally.
Speaking, ISAMATA President, Hon. Emmanuel Ezeanochie, appealed to the traders to vote massively for Uzodimma to enable him win the poll, saying the Governor would rehabilitate the market environment, as well as wave away #200,000 from the #1.8 million price of Lock-Up Shops and #50,000 from the #250,000 rent for Free Zone traders at the Cluster Market, Naze, Owerri.
Advising the traders to discard every sentiment against the Governor by the opposition political parties and vote largely for him in the November 11 2023 poll, Chairman, Imo International Modern Market Cluster Naze, Hon. Uchenna Anaege (Oil Money), Secretary, ISAMATA, Don- Chris Okere, Woman Leader, ISAMATA, Onyinyechi Ozurumba, stated that the Governor had constructed Naze/Nekede road which they affirmed is encouraging socialisation, trade and commerce at the area.
With the Chairman, Cluster Naze, Hausa Market, Alhaji Abdulahi Abdusalam, assuring ISAMATA that on November 11 2023, Hausa traders at Naze Cluster Market will vote overwhelmingly for Uzodimma to enable his reelection.
"We are happy with Governor Hope Uzodimma because he is doing well. We want the Governor to work our market and roads when he is reelected. We are giving him solid support. We love him dearly and we will not compromise", the Chairman added.
