United States President Joe Biden on Wednesday announced $100 million for humanitarian assistance for Palestinian victims of the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza.
President Biden made this known in a post on his official X handle, revealing that the money would support over one million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians.
Ijust announced $100 million for humanitarian assistance in Gaza and the West Bank.
This money will support over 1 million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians.
And we will have mechanisms in place so this aid reaches those in need – not Hamas or terrorist groups.

“I just announced $100 million for humanitarian assistance in Gaza and the West Bank. This money will support over 1 million displaced and conflict-affected Palestinians. And we will have mechanisms in place so this aid reaches those in need – not Hamas or terrorist groups,” the post read.
“My team and I have touched down in Israel to stand in solidarity with the Israeli people following Hamas’s terrorist attack,” he added.
Our Reporters earlier reported that President Biden landed in Tel Aviv, the Israeli capital, for a brief but crucial trip meant to demonstrate US solidarity with Israel ahead of an expected ground assault against Hamas and concerns about humanitarian aid in Gaza.
Biden met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu before leaving for the US on Wednesday.
During the visit, President Biden said that information made available to the US suggested that the hospital explosion in Gaza that killed hundreds of people on Tuesday appeared to have been caused by an errant rocket fired by a "terrorist group".
