Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State may be waiting for his re-election victory dance on 11th November,2023 governorship election as the member representing Ohaji/Egbema in the State House of Assembly,Hon. Dr. Uzoma Francis Osuoha and his kinsmen moved "campaign train" to the grassroots.
Meanwhile,youths, women and members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC turned out enmass in the various political wards of Ohaji/Egbema Council Area on Wednesday 1st November,2023 during the governorship rally.
Speaking to newsmen, Hon. Osuoha who was elected into Imo State House of Assembly under APC platform in the last general elections stated that it is time to reciprocate Governor Hope Uzodimma's lauderdale achievements by re-electing him to continue piloting the affairs of Imo State in the next four years.
He recounted the achievements of the Governor both tangible and intangible to include "rehabilitation and reconstruction of quality roads, Owerri-Orlu, Owerri-Okigwe, Owerri-Umuahia,MCC,Toronto-Road Safety,ongoing Avu-Adapalm Roads building and equipping hospitals, women and youths empowerment through Skill-up Imo where over 45,000 people benefited, payment of pensions and workers salaries as at when due and synergizing with Legislative Arm of Government for the over all development of Imo State".
The ebullient lawmaker popularly called "Eze Buguma" predicted a wide margin victory for Governor Hope Uzodimma maintaining that Ohaji/Egbema people are already pitched tent with APC.
"We have taken the campaign to the grassroots. We have gone ward-to-ward and told our people the good news about our God sent Governor. I'm happy that the whole of Ohaji/Egbema people have collapsed to APC. The Governor has done well in the last four years and continuity is the key for rapid development. He will continue his human capital development if reelected. More youths are going to get jobs through digital skills training initiated by Governor Hope Uzodimma. And I am optimistic that other parts of Imo State are going to vote for APC come November 11,2023",he concluded.
