The member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Obi Aguocha has defeated the former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji at the Appeal Court.
Orji who was the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party had challenged the victory of Aguocha at the February 25 National Assembly election in which the INEC declared Labour Party’s Aguocha the winner.
The Court of Appeal affirmed Aguocha’s victory, bringing to an end the litigations arising from the poll.
