Special assistant to Imo state governor on  rubber estate, government property and facilities Hon. Chidi Ordu (madoka) has expressed optimism that insecurity will be a thing of the past by 2024 considering the strategy the government and security agencies has developed to arrest the situation.

According to him, insecurity in state has been reduced to 10 percent and by next year it will be at zero percent by God grace because the government is not relenting in their duty of securing lifes and properties of it citizens.

The security of Imolites especially in this festive season is of great concern to governor Hope Uzodinma who is putting every effort on ground to ensure a hitch free yuletide celebration for imo citizens both home and abroad.

We are all aware that the insecurity situation in Imo is political orchestrated to distract the governor and the shared prosperity administration, but the government has proven that it cannot be distracted or held to ransom, massive developmental projects have been delivered by this administration despite all odds.

The state government in collaboration with the security agencies in the state have guaranteed the safety of Imolites during the season hence those returning home for christmas celebration have nothing to worry about.

He further adviced youths not to allow  themselves to be used by non state actors to cause breach of peace adding that security job requires that everyone must  be involved.
