The Executive Chairman of Relief Market Owerri Imo State, Engr. Kelechi Chikere has appointed a good number of leaders in the market to serve as Patrons, Matron to ensure synergy, peace and unity of purpose among the traders.
This was a follow up to the earlier promised from the Relief Market Owerri Executive Chairman, Engr Chikere to carry everybody along including the Hausa Community especially the dealers of perishable and fruits items.
In an interview, some of the recipients of the Relief Market Patrons and Matrons Awards last Thursday, December 21, 2023 include; Chief Julian Oguwike, from the Relief Market Motor Park, Mr. Matthew Onyewuchi Ogu Chairman Relief Market Butchers Association, Mrs Chidimma Daniels and many others expressed confidence in the leadership of Engr Chikere as it has brought relative peace in the market since his inception as the Executive Chairman of the market.
According to them,the awards have provided an enabling opportunity to mitigate properly into the affairs of the market as well as ensuring that the place remains absolutely peaceful and ready to take its lost glory of being a sort out market for actual relief products in the State as the nation is currently suffering food shortage and economic downturn.
Engr. Chikere said,"My brother, we are grateful to God for making this day a reality, you know that the devil came but failed woefully, what we did today was based on the promise,we made to our fellow traders upon taking over the mantle of leadership in the Relief Market.
