Aloba, who made the revelation in a video of a TikTok live obtained by SaharaReporters, alleged that his wife and mother to the late singer, Mrs. Promise Aloba, and his children were not working with him because they had been manipulated with money.

Mr Joseph Aloba, father of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has said that neither his wife nor his children are with him in his quest for justice for his late son.

Aloba, who made the revelation in a video of a TikTok live obtained by SaharaReporters, alleged that his wife and mother to the late singer, Mrs. Promise Aloba, and his children were not working with him because they had been manipulated with money.

Asked why his wife and children had not been seen in public scenes with him in his quest for justice for Mohbad, he said, “Because they have used money to change their mind.
“When Wunmi was threatening me, my first daughter was alive but she said nothing. His mother is there. There was a time I demanded that they should do a DNA, when Wunmi told me that I should go and do DNA with Mohbad, Mohbad’s mother is alive and she was quite because of money.
“They have used money to manipulate them. Let me just stand as I’m standing. I know God will intervene.”

According to him, since the issue of Mohbad’s death started, his first daughter, Blessing, used to call him to console him but “Let me just say for the past a month now, she has not called me. As my first daughter, she has not called me.”

For his son, Audra, Mohbad’s father said that “Since when Mohbad died, I do not have contact with Audra till now.”

He however said that he and Mohbad’s mother sometimes calls each other, particularly “When she called my attention that we should bury Mohbad, which I refused. She was begging me but begging me for what?”

Mr. Aloba said he has refused to bury his son because his body was exhumed for autopsy but “we haven’t heard about the results. Without the result of the autopsy and the DNA, they can’t do the burial. I will stand on my word, until we get the results. What about if the autopsy result is not pleasing to us?”

He also said that he has not heard anything about the autopsy result, saying that delay of the autopsy result can result in denial.
