The Special Adviser to the Governor on Door-to-Door in Aboh Mbaise LGA, Imo State, Chief Barr. Emma Njoku, has stated that the APC guber candidate, Senator Hope Uzodimma, will be reelected as governor in the November 11, 2023 election.
He stated this when he spoke with journalists immediately after he was inaugurated by the Deputy Governor, Prof. Placid Njoku, at the Sam Mbakwe Exco Chamber, Government House, Owerri, on Monday.
Njoku said the Governor deserves reelection because he has done tremendous things which he added are encouraging commercial activities and social comfort, peace and security in Imo State, stressing that the Governor's feat on road construction/rehabilitation in Owerri, Okigwe and Orlu Senatorial Zones are milestones which he added engenders development and economic prosperity.
The former Interim Chairman of Aboh Mbaise LGA emphasized that the Governor is doing greatly in the areas of health, education and youth rejuvenation, saying many youths have been trained on ICT, entrepreneurial and marketing skills through SkillupImo Program, while many are still undergoing the same skills acquisition programs aimed at making them employable, productive and responsible.
He pointed out that the upgrading of Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri to Federal University of Education, upgrading of Federal Medical Center Owerri to Federal University Teaching Hospital Owerri among others depict that the Governor has placed the state to the national grid, a political status he believes would always strengthens development in the state.
"We have already started working. We will intensify our work for the November 11 2023 governorship election in Imo State. It is very sacrosanct and designed that Uzodimma will be reelected", the SA Door-to-Door Aboh Mbaise maintained.
Expressing gratefulness over his appointment, Njoku reassured the APC led government of the continued support and solid campaign in the area for the reelection of Uzodimma for enhanced good governance and democracy dividends.
