Chief Samuel Ojuchukwu, a community Stakeholder and chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aboh Mbaise LG has appealed to Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma to relief Ugorji O Ugorji, his appointment as Commissioner for Homeland Security and Vigilante Affairs.


Ojukwu, who condemned Ugorji's continuous involvement in some anti party activities in Aboh Mbaise APC on Sunday while briefing newsmen in preparation of Iriji Mbaise ceremony.


The APC chieftain, revealed that Uzodinma's Homeland Security Commissioner is inciting controversies in Aboh Mbaise APC, an act which is capable of causing disunity in the party.

Mr Ugorji, was earlier described by the LGA Youths Leader of APC in Aboh Mbaise as a man who is synonymous with controversy.



A community source who confirmed the news, revealed to newsmen that Uzodinma's Commissioner, Ugorji is currently in alliance with the labour party Deputy-Gov Candidate, Tony Nwolu, who he identified as his relative from Ezinihitte Mbaise local government.

Nwolu is a one time Federal legislator. And currently a running mate to Senator Athan Achonu, labour party Governorship Candidate for Imo November 11 poll.

"Even though we are aware of his covert alliance with members of the opposition party, to deliver Athan Achonu and his running mate Tony Nwolu who is related to him.

"Action speak louder than voice, Ugorji O Ugorji intention is to disorganize our party and run away. He is Inciting Aboh Mbaise APC members against the leaders so that the party will not deliver Governor Hope Uzodinma in the forthcoming election.

"Ugorji is very small to disorganize APC structure in Aboh, after he failed woefully in his bid to Highjack party leadership, now he is sponsoring publication to defame the image of Aboh Mbaise APC. 

"I have been briefed about his meeting with Athan Achonu and Nwolu last month held in Lagos. With some of his kinsmen in Lagos. Ugorji must be sacked now. His negative activities in Aboh against governor Hope Uzodinma is speaking volumes."


Confirming the news, an LGA executive member of the party who did not want his name on print, told newsmen that Ugorji is causing more harm than good to APC in the Area.


Party  member who simply identified himself as Unaeze, told our correspondent that Uzodinma's Homeland Security Commissioner is currently doing his best to make Aboh Against APC, both in newspaper and internet publication personally signed by him.

He advised that Uzodinma should relief him from office to avoid throwing the party into disunity in Aboh.

Hear him, "how can one man be fighting all our leaders in Aboh Mbaise APC. Casting aspersions on the party leadership that have done well.

"Ugorji is just trying to mess things up. With infantile strategy of Calling for account of election and campaign logistics Funds on newspaper pages.

"Is Ugorji Working for APC and Uzodinma or for Opposition party?

"No party does account on Newspaper page. We are comfortable with our leaders in Aboh. This is not time for blackmail, witch-hunting and backbiting. This is Time to work hard for our Governor's victory."
