Imo State Governor, Dist. Sen Hope Uzodinma and his wife , Deputy Governor, Prof Placid Njoku , Imo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe and his deputy speaker, Rt Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu as well as immediate past minister , Rt Hon Nnannah Goodluck Opiah were among the dignitaries, who bade HRH Eze Ngozi Anyaehie, the elder brother of Chief of staff to Imo State Governor, Barr Nnamdi Anyaehi , a final goodbye as he was committed to mother earth .

Other personalities at the funeral included  HRM Eze E.C  Okeke , the Chairman of Imo State Traditional Rulers Council,  Hon Uche Nwosu , Rt Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo,  Eng . Tony Chukwu, Rt Hon Emeka Ndukwe , Hon Rubbh Emele, Hon Cosmos Iwu , Barr Akaolisa  and a host of others .
The remains of HRH Eze Ngozi Anyaehie were interred at his palace at Nnanano Autonomous Community  in Nkwere  Local Government Area of the Imo State.

Among dignitaries at the church service were Deputy Governor Prof Placid Njoku  and Wife of the Governor , Her Excellency, Bar Chioma Uzodinma, Speaker , Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe, Rt Hon Amara Iwuanyanwu, Hon Eugene Dibiagwu, Hon Rubb, Emele , Immediate past minister Rt Hon Goodluck Opiah, Hon Gilbert Nwosu, Hon Dr Henry Okafor  and a host of others.

Speaking at the church service, the deputy Governor, Prof Placid Njoku, described the death of HRH Eze Ngozi Anyaehie as shocking and a big loss to the land of Nkwere and the state as a whole.

The deputy  governor said the deceased was a committed Christian, who spent his time serving God and also contributed to the development of his communities and the state through his philanthropic gestures towards the society.

He commiserated with the deceased’s wife , Ugoeze , his  children and the people of Nnanano community for the loss, saying it was only God that could fill the vacuum created by his passage.
“On behalf of my family and , the government and people of Imo State, I again condole with the family of Hon Barr Nnamdi Anyaehi on the demise of his  brother , HRH Eze Ngozi Anyaehie .

“When we heard about his death, it was very painful to us, because he was very close to God and the Government had seen the family commit to building for God.

Placid, however, assured the family that Uzodinma's administration would support and fulfil the deceased’s development desire for his  people in Nnanano community, which he was passionate about until her death.

Earlier, eldest child of the deceased, Prince Anyaehie, described her late dad as a kind and trustworthy father, husband and brother , whom, he  said was committed to God’s work.

his homily, Catholic Bishop of , urged Christians to work for God, when they still have the opportunity as the late king worked for the growth and development of the church.

While condoling with the deceased’s family, Bishop , said the hope of the resurrection morning promised by Jesus Christ has been guiding principle of every Christian in every assigned duty on earth.

According to him, the late King   was a good man and true Christian, who spent his time actively involved in God’s works especially, in the famous Catholic Men Organisation (CMO).

The burial ceremony was also attended by the Labour party Candidate , Sen Anthan Achuonu , Past President General of Ohanaze Ndigbo among others
