Coordinator, Hope In Hope Campaign Group, Deacon Smart Echefu, says the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, merits reelection.

Echefu disclosed this when he spoke to journalists during the funeral of elder brother of Imo State Government House Chief of Staff, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie and traditional ruler of Nnanano Nkwerre autonomous community, HRH, Eze Ngozi Anyaehie, last week.

He believes that when the Governor is given a second mandate in the November 11 2023 governorship election he would sustain his good legacies of quality road construction, rehabilitation, youth skills acquisition and empowerment, advancement in education and health sectors including boosting industry and commerce through the dredging of Oguta/Orashi River, the increment of wages of civil servants, employment of over 10,000 primary school teachers, among other numerous achievements gained by the 3R led administration.

"Hope In Hope Campaign Group is working hard towards the reelection His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma. The basis of our support for him is that Hope is working. As his name entails, that is how his works are. Hence, I call him the Commander - in - Chief of road construction in Imo. And that is what he is. You can see the roads well made from Owerri to Orlu, dualized with electricity (first of its kind since Mbakwe), Owerri/Okigwe, Owerri/Umuahia, Orashi/Oguta River dredging to link Atlantic Ocean for advanced commercial activities, conversion of FMC Owerri to Federal University Teaching Hospital Owerri, Alvan Ikoku Federal College of Education Owerri to Federal University of Education Owerri and many other achievements. These achievements will go a long way to promote social comfort, increase revenues for even development.



Echefu who added that the Governor's election as Chairman of Progressives Governors was due to his promotion of fair democracy and rule of law in Imo State, called on the electorate to give the Governor their massive votes in the poll to enable him win the guber election to consolidate good governance and purposeful leadership.

While urging those mourning Eze Ngozi Anyaehie to bear the loss with fortitude as God knows why he died at 76 years, Echefu prayed to God to accept his soul and give him eternal rest in His Kingdom.
