Condoles With Bereaved Families
The energetic member representing the good people of Ehime Mbano, Ihitte Uboma and Obowo Federal Constituency, at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly, Rt Hon Jonas Okeke, has condemned in the strongest term the gruesome murder of some security operatives in Umualumaku, Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo State, by some yet-to-be identified arsonists.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the bereved families, and appealed for calm_while calling on the federal and state governments to ensure that the perpetrators of the dastardly acts are brought to book.
He enjoined the people to always be security conscious, as there can't be an alternative for peace and harmony.
"I condole with the good people of Ehime Mbano LGA, over the tragic incident.
I pray that God Almighty gives the bereved families the fortitude to bear their losses.
I urge the security agencies to ensure they fish out those responsible for this terrible acts and bring them to book as there can't be an alternative for peaceful coexistence in our Constituency."
He also sent his heart felt condolences to the Police, Army and NSCDC security authorities over the loss of their men in the attack, while calling for more drastic actions to completely nip such attacks to the bud.
