The appeal court in Abuja has upheld the judgment of the Kogi state election petition tribunal sacking Senator as a senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial district of the state.
The election petition tribunal sitting in Lokoja had declared Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as the winner of the February 25 Kogi Central Senatorial election.
Delivering the ruling this morning Tuesday 31st October 2023, the court of appeal upheld the decision of the tribunal, declaring Natasha Akpoti of the PDP as the legitimate winner of Kogi Central Central Senatorial District.
It held that the appeal of Sadiku-Ohere,challenging the judgment of the tribunal lacked merit.
