The following roads particularly as it affects Abia South and Abia Central are on going.
1. Omuma Road
2. Pepple's Road
3. Water side- Umuoba Road
4. Cemetery road phase 2.
5. Owerrinta - Umueka- Umuenye junction.
Leveraging on the relationship with the Minister of works, Sen. Umahi, the Enugu- Port Harcourt- Aba express way is on going now and at least one lane would be delivered for use on or before 15 December, 2023.
N:B. These road are on various stages at moment- designing, earth work etc.
Few days back, His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti, OFR, received in audience the leadership of NDDC. He used that medium to charge them on abandoned projects in Abia. Yours sincerely, when asked to give the vote of thanks to our August visitors, used the opportunity to lay emphasis on our roads down home, particularly, Iferife and Umuali roads amongst other roads embarked upon by NDDC in Obingwa.
In his response, the NDDC boss promised to do needful in no distant time. He applauded the leadership style of Dr. Alex and promised to work closely with Abia State Govt to bring the full mandate of his Commission to Abia.
