The Ihitte/Uboma local government area leaders, traditional rulers and the citizens stood still recently as all joined to bid late HRH Eze Godfrey Chiwuike Ogbonna and his wife late Ugoeze Nneoma Mabel Abaraugo Ogbonna farewell.

Speaking to newsmen at the Ihitte/Uboma local government area during the validation section of late HRH Eze Godfrey C. Ogbonna as former chairman of Ihitte/Uboma council of traditional rulers, the Sole Administrator for Ihitte/Uboma LGA Barr. Uche Okonkwo  described the late Eze Godfrey Chiwuike Ogbonna as a humble man that always stand in the truth. He urged Ihitte/Uboma people to take heart. Pointing out that Late HRH Eze Godfrey Chiwuike Ogbonna died at a good old age of 95 years.

In another development, the leadership of Ihitte/Uboma local government area council of traditional rulers led by HRH Eze Jude Uwalaka also urged the good people of the area to see the death and departure of  late HRH Eze Godfrey Chiwuike Ogbonna as a necessary end to all men hence encouraged all to live a good life to avoid regret at the end of our life in this world. 

It was gathered that their burial funeral service  held at Christ The King Parish Ikperejere witnessed great men and women from all works of life, the clergy, traditional rulers from IMO state, the media, politician's, as well as many illustrious Sons and Daughter's of Ihitte/Uboma, Ikperejere in diaspora who visited home with a view to joined in biding the late HRH Eze Godfrey Chiwuike Ogbonna and the wife late Ugoeze Nneoma Mabel Abaraugo Ogbonna farewell.
