It was a moment of happiness and joy in Owerri the IMO state capital as Engr. Kelechi Eke "Big Obi" hosted the IMO State Para - Soccer Association tournament, which featured K. C Eke FC vs Jabulani FC in a Para- soccer  match.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the Para- Soccer match, the host Engr. Kelechi Eke; the Ihemba 1 of Imerienwe in Ngor Okpula local government area of IMO State, expressed joy and thanked the participating teams, IMO state sports lovers and all those who came out to watch the scintillating performance of para- Soccer  match. Hence assured his commitment to support the growth and development of Para - Soccer in IMO state.

According to Engr. Kelechi Eke, the Ihemba 1 of Imerienwe he said, " Indeed, l commend all the players of Para - Soccer in IMO state, particularly the two teams in the Para - Soccer match today. To me, is an honour to be here hence l assured you of my maximum  support to ensure the growth and development of Para - Soccer in IMO state. Again, l assured you of making  your next end of year tournament in December 22 , 2024 a great event ".

In another development, , Engr. Kelechi Eke  called on IMO state government, organizations and good spirited individuals to see the need to support the Para - Soccer teams in the state and more importantly the disabled once among us in our societies. He Pointed out that helping them, will help create a healthy society across the state.

Again, Mr Bright Chibuzor Obiduru from Okwelle in Onuimo local government area of IMO state, the youngest Para - Soccer patron in IMO state in his response described the Para - Soccer as a sports that needs to be encouraged by all. He also assured his commitment to support Para - Soccer and her players in IMO state.

Interestingly, the IMO state Para - Soccer coach Prince Chibuzor Nwankwere and the team manager in IMO state, Mr. Ebogu Anthony commended Engr. Kelechi Eke for his continuous support to IMO state Para - Soccer Association hence presented to him an  outstanding Patron Award. The event which was held at Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri, was attended by great many people which includes, the IMO state sports Director Sir Ferdinand Emeana, Mr. Victor James (Ist coach Para - Soccer), Mr. Greg Emenekwe, Prince Ikenna Nwakwere, Hon Stephen Happiness, IMO state sports lovers, the media among others.
