On Sunday, July 23, children at the Red Cross Motherless Babies Home, located at Wetherall Junction, along Emmanuel College Avenue, Aba road, Owerri, went into wild jubilation, singing and praying profusely for PHE-BELLA, a gold mining company and partners who visited the orphanage home with gift items worth thousands of naira.
Some of the items presented during the visit which ranged from food stuffs to beverages, cosmetics and toiletries among others included cartons of juice drinks and cartons of biscuits, liquid soaps, tablets of toilet soaps,milk, baby cot, among others.
The orphans prayed that God would reward their visitors and the donors and preserve them for future assignments to humanity.
A little child who's name was disclosed prayed for the visitors asked God to bless the PHE-BELLA group and partners and establish Them higher.
In her remarks, the leader of the delegation who spoke for the group, Honourable Mrs. Agatha Onuoha thanked the management of the orphanage home for giving them the privilege to visit, she told the children to be submissive and avoid bad companies.
"I'm honourable Agatha Onuoha, member of PHE-BELLA, a Gold mining company that deals with Gold in Nigeria. PHE-BELLA have given employment to Youths in Nigeria and the headquarters is located in Abuja.
"We are here to visit the less Privileged children in Owerri, which is one of our top priorities. We urge every youth to join us.
"We are happy to see this children today and to contribute to their welfare. we thank PHE-BELLA for giving us the privilege to meet people in the orphanage home, God will bless them.
"PHE-BELLA have touched many life to positive, they have visited many homes in Nigeria and assisted many children in one way or the other.
"I pray that God will bless the owner of the company and his partners and grant them their heart desires in Nigeria." Onuoha said.
Meanwhile, the invent recorded the presence Dr. Samuelson Emehibe (JP), Special Adviser to Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, who also commended the PHE-BELLA group for their service for humanity.
Dr. Emehibe noted that children are eternal gift from God and there are needs to empower their Life.
He thanked the management of the group for remembering Imo children, adding that Imo State Government will not take their kind gesture for granted.
