Speaking to newsmen in his office at Owerri Municipal Council in IMO state capital, the Sole Administrator Hon. Adding that the aim is to create opportunity for a new leadership and to bring the Owerri people together as a people.

According to Hon. Christian Nze he said " Indeed, the removal of Sir Felix Ngroka as the President General for Owerri Community Assembly in anyway should not bring confusion to Owerri people because his tenure in office supposed to be for two years. But Sir Felix Ngroka has stayed for nine years now without any meaningful impacts to the people. In fact, sir Felix Ngroka can not be standing in in illegality and talking about legality. The Owerri stakeholders and President Generals gathered, agreed to dissolve the leadership of Sir Felix Ngroka and said enough is enough. They also set up a Peace Reconciliation/ Election committee led by Ambassador Jude Ihugba. This committee is charged with the responsibility to plan, organize the Oru Owerre cultural festival and conduct an election for a new President General for Owerri Community Assembly after the Oru Owerre events".

In another development, the Owerri Municipal Council Sole Administrator Hon Nze described the Owerri people as a progressive people and pointed out that they now have five Autonomous Communities in Owerri hence all these communities have to be involved in this year Oru Owerre cultural festival. " No doubt, the era of one man show is over! Oru Owerre cultural festival suppose to be a Christmas of the Owerri people, where a lot of people will come out with love and unity as brothers to enjoy themselves. We are confidence that the new committee will restore the lost glory of Oru Owerre and help to reactivate the brotherly love among us "- Hon. Christian Nze said.

Again, Hon Nze also commended the Imo state governor Sen. Hope Uzodinma for the rebuilt of Eke Ukwu Owerri market hence described it as a promise fulfilled.
