The United IMO Christian Network, a religious organization involving different church denominations in Imo state has commended the Imo state governor Sen. Hope Uzodinma for the increase in Imo civil servants salary with #40,000 and the upgrade of Alvan Ikoku College of Education to Federal University of Education.

Speaking to newsmen in owerri the Imo state capital, the state chairman for United IMO Christian Network Rev Emmanuel Amaefule -  Ph.D expressed joy and thanked the Imo state governor Sen. Hope Uzodinma for being sensitive to the plight of Imo people and responding to them positively.

According to the state chairman Dr Emmanuel Amaefule he said, " No doubt, the anger and pain that appeared to dominate the state in recent time resulting from the effects of fuel subsidy removal and lack of stomach infrastructure has suddenly changed to joy and laughter on faces of many following the Pronouncement of the#40,000 Imo civil servants salary increase and welfare packages made by Sen Hope Uzodinma. Indeed, it is a timely positive respond from the Imo state governor. Now Imo people  believed that there are good things ahead under  his leadership as Imo governor".

Again, the United Imo Christian Network state chairman Dr  Amaefule commended the governor Sen Hope Uzodinma for persisting to ensure the upgrade of Alvan Ikoku College of Education to Federal University of Education. More importantly, for executing critical projects, land mark achievements for Imo people and being sensitive the challenges facing the people of the state. 
"Today, Imo people are happy because most uncompleted projects of the past governors has now been completed by Sen Hope Uzodinma. In fact, he has demonstrated passion to ensure the realisation of the Federal University for the best interest of Imo people. History is made by Sen Hope Uzodinma, we now have Federal University of Education in Imo State. A dream come true indeed"- Dr Emmanuel Amaefule said.
