Member representing Ohaji/Egbema State Constituency in Imo Assembly, Hon. Dr. Francis Uzoma Osuoha (Eze Buguma), has sympathized with the families and relatives of people who lost their lives at INDORAMA Gas Pipeline, Obitti, Ohaji, which occurred in the early hours of Monday.

He told the mourners to bear the loss of their beloved ones with fortitude, just as he prayed for quick recovery of survivors from their severe injuries.

Osuoha who visited the scene of the tragedy in company of Divisional Police Officer of Ohaji Police Division, Umuagwo, CSP Mathias Abbah, the immediate past Special Assistant to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Imo House of Assembly Service Commission, Hon. Kenneth Ekwueme, his Chief of Staff, Eugene Nwosu, among other notable persons, expressed sadness over the disaster that consumed lives of young people who he said were also breadwinners.

Osuoha who is the Chairman, House Committee on ISOPADEC, Oil and Gas, while condemning the vandalism of the Gas Pipeline by the victims, promised to ensure that INDORAMA provides Pipeline Security as it does in Rivers State with a view to curtailing oil theft which he pointed out may lead to Oil, Gas Explosion, saying if there was effective security the illegal mining of gas and the disaster would not have happened.
