The All Progressives Congress,APC South East Special Citizens Leader and Chairman of Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities, JONAPWD Imo State chapter,Hon. Dr. Stanley Chinedu Nwachukwu has commended Imolites for re-electing Governor Hope Uzodimma in the just concluded Imo State off-cycle gubernatorial election.
Dr. Nwachukwu expressed happiness that Imo people listened to their recent appeal on the pages of newspapers captioned "Physically challenged persons beg Imolites to re-elect Uzodimma".
He stated that the option of re-electing him will bring rapid development in Imo State.
Dr. Nwachukwu commended associates, families and friends of people living with disabilities for absolutely not deceived by opposition parties adding that the best thing that has happened to Imo State was re-electing Governor Hope Uzodimma in November 11,2023 off-cycle gubernatorial election.
He maintained that if eventually any mistake to vote in an opposition party will amount to abandoning of the laudable projects started by Governor Hope Uzodimma.
According to him,"we embarked upon upon awareness campaign ensuring that not only people with disabilities but all Imolites will benefit from Governor Hope Uzodimma's second term in office. I am happy that all my members have permanent voters cards, and they all voted for our action Governor. We are trying to make sure that our families and friends join the winning team. And we believed that the election was free, fair and credible.
We held grand finale of our solidarity rally on Tuesday November 7th,2023. Government House, Owerri was filled to its brim as we mobilized our members across the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State who attended the event".
