The November 11th 2023 Election , , the Candidate of PDP, Sen.Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu, , in Owerri at the hours of the day during a press briefing strictly called on INEC to as a matter of free and fair polls cancel the whole exercise supposedly took place or held in the 27 LGA’s of the state.
According to Sen.Anyanwu, ” I am making this press conference to tell the whole world the real situation of all things that happened in the state on the said election day. (Saturday November 11 2023) before the official declaration of the supposed election exercise”.
“First of all, there was no election held in Imo State at all. Therefore, I am calling on INEC to quickly cancel the said guber polls;
“I am putting the records straight that there was no election held or conducted by INEC in Imo;
”The ongoing 2023 Imo Governorship election which started on Saturday, November 11th from across the 27 LGA’s of the state whose winner is yet to be announced by INEC has been described as a big shame, scam and unacceptable by the Imo PDP candidate, SamDaddy.
While speaking to journalists, the PDP 2023 Nov.11th Imo Guber, Sen.Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (SamDaddy), has expressively rejected election outcome even as he has called on the electoral umpire for the total cancellation.
SamDaddy, who spoke disclosed that there were obvious votes buying, and election violence by some armed operatives sponsored by APC.
“What INEC promised was not what we saw anywhere in the state. From across the state, we found out that the said exercise started by 10:20 am with accreditation of votes yet so many came to vote but the APC supporters and followers
Samdaddy said, “”There was series of electoral malpractice and violence everywhere discourtesy of APC”.
The Guber Candidate of Imo APC, who is the governor of the state, Sen.Hope Uzodimma, and supporters of his party where busy instigating electoral violence in the state.
“At Orlu, the palace of a certain Traditional Ruler, Eze Emma Okere, was illegally designated as a fake INEC office. Same at Orlu, about INEC materials were divert in about 7 wards;
“Some INEC Observers, Journalists and Ad-hoc Staff who visited Nkwerre LGA for the sake of the election confirmed that some INEC sensitive materials meant to be used at some polling units were diverted into the house of a former Imo Guber Candidate of Action Alliance, AA, Hon. Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, a son-in-law to the former Governor of the state”, SamDaddy alleged.
“At Okigwe zone, there was no election held. No result sheets was seen anywhere but the APC’s uploaded results said to be fake in which some of the agents of Imo PDP and some INEC Adhoc staffers (Polling Officers) confirmed that they were forced to upload illegal results;
“I casted my own vote. Even at my own booth, they (APC thugs) came and carted away the INEC sensitive materials. Whereas, we all know that elections should not be seen as a do or die agent;
“So I am expressively calling on INEC for the immediately cancellation of the election before the final collation results, because no election was held anywhere!
“The several INEC iRev’s failed due to ineffectiveness, lack of data subscription and poor network connections”.
”At Atta Ikeduru LGA of the state, a very innocent voter was killed by the APC.
Therefore, as long as I am greatly concerned, I, Sen.Samuel Anyanwu (SamDaddy), the leadership of Imo PDP and the entire people of Imo State are calling on INEC to cancel the exercise because of vote buying, irregularities and obvious violence by the APC and their guber candidate who is working as the state actor fighting against democracy.
