High Chief Mike Duru Ejiogu was born into the humble home of late elder Matthew Iwuoha Ejiogu and Ezinne Ejiogu of Umuihe, Umudo Anara Ancient kingdom in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo on the 24th of February, 1974.


As a child of grace, built upon his love, passion and penchant for the best, High Chief Mike Duru Ejiogu started his journey in life in a very humble beginning as a result of family background and his determination to rewrite the history and narrative of his family. 



He started his educational pursuit in Makurdi, Benue State where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from Holy Ghost Primary School Makurdi between 1981-1987.


Thereafter, he proceeded to the prestigious Government College Makurdi and Amuwo Origin Boys Secondary School, the institutions he obtained both his Junior Secondary Certificate and Senior Secondary School Certificate. 


High Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from the University of Abuja, Nigeria.


His entrance into the world of business has given credence to the obvious fact that hardwork indeed pays. By his sustained commitment through the years, he has built a strong business empire that has seen the birth of flourishing conglomerates of which CITYGATE HOMES AND RESORTS LTD.


CITYGATE HOMES is the estate development company behind 3 completed estates Kukwaba, Kaura and Games village districts, all in Abuja and ongoing construction of another 3 estates in Abuja. The company's latest project is the construction of a 24 floors luxury apartment called CITYGATE LAGOON TOWERS along Ozumba Mbadiwe street Victoria Island, Lagos.
