Members of "Obidiently Hopeful New Movement For Uzodimma", have expressively condemned the public assault and embarrassment melted on the National President of NLC, Comr.Jeo Ajaero, by some persons yet be identified political thugs.
The group made the condemnation during a press conference in Owerri.
According to the Convener of group,
Dr.Emeka Mandela, who spoke to the pressmen in Owerri, said that group is ready and passionate to support the re-election process of the incumbent Governor of Imo State, His Excellency, Sen.Uzodimma, who is the 2023 APC guber candidate.
In his words, "We are satisfied with the successful leadership achievements so far recorded on ground in Imo State by the governor and we are hereby fully in support of re-election bid of the governor. Having seen the heights of leadership capacity bestowed since he assumed office as the governor in 2020, we are convinced that he is the best to be elected amongst all the other political party candidates vying to be governor''.
Dr.Emeka Mandela, while speaking, strictly warned the embattled NLC President, Comr.Joe Ajaero, to focus on his job and allow the shared prosperity government to move on.
He also warned any person using NLC President, Comr.Joe Ajaero, as a political tool for personal vendetta to desist from that act or face the consequences.
The leader of the group on his speech ask three questions to the NLC President Joe Ajero, firstly, did Ajaero consulted the Nigerian workers before carrying out the protest in Imo, If any Nigerian workers being if Federal worker or state worker is not been consulted before carrying out the protest to Imo State in your personal action, why did you now say you consulted the Nigerian workers.
" I am very sure that Comrade Joe Ajero did not take any permission from Nigeria workers. Why did you now subject Nigerian workers and the people of imo state into hardship? If not that Ajero did not act according to the Nigerian workers?".
So therefore the Nigerian workers and the public will never in any way have pity nor share his plite.
Secondly, If NLC in imo state has issues as Ajero is claiming with imo workers , why not allow Imo state NLC leadership to handle it, if the same leadership is bias, why wouldn't NLC leadership send some one that is unbiased, send people that are not tribalistic, send people that of not Imo State origin to come look into the issues.
The Jeo Ajero took it upon himself in the name of protest was a very bias move.
We may be taking the welfare and the quick response to Jeo Ajero's treatment, by the special grace of God I wish him quick recovery.
But we must Condemned the idea of fly Joe Ajero to abroad for medical treatment, is there no hospital in Nigeria?
Is there no doctors in Nigeria?
The Nigerian masses are crying every day and night. But the so-called politicians are busy flying to abroad for medical treatment and the so-called defender of masses, Comrade Joe Ajaero is the one involving himself in the same act he was supposed to condemn.
It is condemnable, we can not fold our arms and watch some group of people using NLC for their personal vendetta.
Meanwhile, earlier in his words, the Convener of Obidiently Hopeful New Movement For Uzodimma, Dr.Mandela, appealed to millions of Imolites to come out enmasse and collectively votes for Uzodimma's reelection on Saturday's Nov.11 guber polls.
